Daniel Williams biography

Daniel has been an Independent Financial Adviser with Morgan Williams & Co since 2016 and was appointed as a Director in 2024.  Alongside his advisory role, Daniel is deeply involved in his local community, serving as Deputy Chair of Governors at a primary school and volunteering as a Community First Responder with Yorkshire Ambulance Service. 

A recognised specialist in Finance and Cyber Crime avoidance, Daniel leads his firm’s efforts in this critical area, delivering training and guidance to Financial Advisers and Financial Services Professionals and consumers nationwide.  He plays an active role in the PFS ScamSmart initiative, contributing to the profession's fight against financial scams.

From 2020 to 2025, Daniel served as the Education Outreach Ambassador for the Yorkshire Region and an Education Champion for the PFS My Personal Finance Skills programme, running impactful financial education workshops in schools across the UK. His dedication to financial  education was recognised in 2022 when he was named the PFS Financial Education Champion of the Year. 

Daniel is an active contributor to the development of the financial planning profession, sitting on several Young Adviser and Practice Development Panels to help shape best practice across the industry.  He has also been named as a CityWire Top 35 Next Generation Planner on three separate occasions.
