The CII has provided further capacity for its July examination session, allowing more learners to take their written exams without delay.
The (AF1) Personal tax & trust planning, and the (AF5) Financial planning exams, which both receive the greatest number of learner entries amongst the CII’s curriculum, will be available in July to benefit the maximum number of students.
Keith Richards, CEO of the Personal Finance Society, noted “It is increasingly important that because of the regulatory qualification requirements as well as member feedback and demand for these units specifically, the personal finance courses we accredit have been prioritised and will remain as widely available as possible, especially during these unprecedented times. Where there is a lack of certainty within the economy at any point in time, coupled today with the longer term impact likely to be caused by the current emergency measures, ensuring future capacity and access to professional advice has never been more critical.”
“Other measures are being put in place to increase availability to other units as soon as possible and will be communicated when available.”
The CII will be contacting candidates who had booked AF1 or AF5 for the April sitting to notify them that they will automatically be rescheduled to the July exam sitting.
